
Gaby Serres
Bio
Gaby Serres is a violinist, cultural manager, and founder of Cameristica Festival (Brussels) and Festivando (Bogotá), two international platforms dedicated to artistic excellence and social impact.
Trained within Venezuela’s El Sistema, she developed a strong artistic and humanistic vision that continues to shape her work. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, a music diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Mons (Belgium), and a distinction diploma in music theory from the Royal Academy of Music (London).
With over 26 years of experience as an orchestral violinist across Europe and Latin America, she has performed with leading orchestras and alongside artists such as Gustavo Dudamel and Plácido Domingo. She is currently a violinist in the Deutsch-Romantisches Orchester in Berlin.
Deeply committed to pedagogy, she has led youth orchestras and educational projects in Venezuela, Italy, and Mexico, particularly in socially vulnerable contexts. She is currently active as a violin teacher in Paris and collaborates regularly with European orchestras.
Her work bridges artistic excellence, education and international cultural exchange.
